Australian and Proud of It!
$ 9.50
Australian and Proud of it.
This patch was inspired by all of the Men and Women who have served Australia including my Grandfather, Sidney Attwood who served Australia at Gallipoli and France, my Uncle, Harold Burchell, POW Singapore and a letter written by Bill Thompson to his Mum and Dad addressed as;
from a Jungle Camp
Somewhere in Thailand
5th September 1945.
'Bill and his mates were waiting to be Airlifted out. he writes, I suppose now that the 'Yanks' and 'British' have got their troops out, they won't worry when they get us out, We are Australians, and Proud of it.'
